Drawings, 1835-1869.

Consists of three volumes depicting architectural details (columns, scrolls, jambs, etc.), ornaments, stained glass, fancy lettering, etc. primarily of English churches along with copies of illuminated manuscript lettering from the British Library. Several coats of arms and other heraldic symbols are also shown. Many of the churches and cathedrals depicted are identified. Five sketches of St. Marie's Grange attributed to Pugin are included. A few others are attributed to J. Britton.
